Do you perform fillings, crowns, or extractions?
As a Registered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice (RDHAP), I provide preventive and periodontal dental hygiene services. Restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, and extractions are completed by a licensed dentist.
When restorative needs are identified, I can obtain diagnostic X-rays and intraoral images and securely share them with the patient’s dentist to assist with evaluation and treatment planning.
Do you provide dental X-rays?
Yes. Portable digital radiography equipment is used when clinically necessary. I am able to take bitewing and periapical (PA) radiographs and securely share them with the patient’s dentist to support coordinated care.
All imaging is performed in accordance with California safety standards.
Can patients still see their regular dentist?
Absolutely. My services are designed to complement a patient’s primary dentist. Many patients continue their relationship with their existing dental provider while receiving convenient on-site preventive care.
Do you work with assisted living and skilled nursing facilities?
Yes. I partner with assisted living communities, memory care residences, skilled nursing facilities, and homebound individuals throughout San Diego County.
What equipment do you bring?
All necessary portable dental hygiene equipment is brought onsite, including sterilized instruments, infection-control materials, and digital radiography equipment to provide safe and professional care.
